Five Rohingyas were arrested at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday morning while they were trying to go abroad with fake passports.

Two of the arrested, all aged 20-22, were identified as Ismail and Hossain Shah.

Airport Armed Police sources said the five Myanmar citizens entered the Departure Terminal of the airport to go to Saudi Arabia by a Kuwait Airways flight at 9:30 am.

A plainclothes team of the Airport Armed Police interrogated them after noticing their suspicious movement around the check-in counter of the airways.

During the interrogation, it was found that they could not speak Bangla. Later, the law enforcers arrested them.
