    Key share price index at the country’s twin bourses - Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – suffered loss on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.



    The DSE benchmark index, DGEN lost 18.72 points or 0.42 percent to reach 4344.36 points at close today. Of the 291 issues traded on the day 63 gained, 179 declined and 49 remained unchanged.



    Shares worth Tk 149.96 crore changed hands at the DSE on Sunday.



    The day’s top 10 losers at the DSE were Midas Finance, BIFC, LR Global Bangladesh Mutual Fund, Wata Chemicals, Shyampur Sugar Mills, Stylecraft, BD Finance, Sonar Bangla Finance, Prime Life Insurance, and Far Chemicals.



    The CSE key index, CSCX lost 34.02 points to stand at 8293.09 points at close today. Of the 209 issues traded till then, 38 gained, 148 declined and 23 remained unchanged.



    Shares worth Tk 13.58 crore were traded at the CSE on Sunday.
