    Local unit of BNP and its front organisations will lay seize to the regional office of Titas Gas Distribution and Transmission Company Ltd at the city’s Chashara on Wednesday demanding uninterrupted gas supply during the Ramadan. The announcement was made through a joint statement singed by BNP city unit president Jahangir and its secretary ATM Kamal. The statement said a rally will be held on the Press Club premises on the day to press for the demand. According to the statement, gas crisis has become severe during the fasting month, inflicting immense sufferings to the fasting people in the city and on its suburb. Demanding immediate steps to resolve the gas crisis, BNP city unit will stage rally on the Press Club premises on Wednesday morning and later besiege local Titas office, it said.
